Progress at Woodhill Community Center (Watch Video)

We’re anxiously watching the progress as work continues at 422 Codell Drive to complete the Woodhill Community Center presented by The MAP Foundation. You wouldn’t recognize the place if you saw it at the start!

Pictured above is the Valvoline Educational Center. Construction is underway immediately behind this structure on a gymnasium. For safety reasons, our activities with children will not begin at the Center until all construction has been completed.

WKYT-TV featured the Woodhill Center in a news report during late July.  Click here to view the video segment (2:17 min):

Renovation of the main building is nearly complete and will house a library, recording studio, kitchen and café, locker rooms, fitness room, art and other multi-purpose rooms, plus offices for staff. We are very grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response to our capital campaign, lead by The MAP Foundation. Commitments for just over $2 million have been received towards our goal of $2.5 million! Our goal is to have the project fully funded by the grand opening this Fall.
