Welcome Parents and Caregivers!  We are glad you are here, checking out the Amachi mentoring program for your child.  We want to support you as you care for and love your “Child of Promise.”

There are real benefits to mentoring.  Children who are matched with mentors that spend an hour per week with them for at least one year show:

• Better attendance and improved School Performance
• Better behavior
• Increased participation in positive activities
• Improved self-esteem
• Improved relationships with family and other adults
• Improved relationships with friends

Child Eligibility Requirements:

• Between the ages of 4-18.
• Commit to spend one hour per week with mentor
