The Trumpet

When Lexington Leadership Foundation started in 1999, the Holy Spirit inspired us to make intercession the first ministry that we initiated.   The Trumpet began as a prayer publication to encourage the Church in Lexington to seek the Lord together in a more concerted manner, and quickly added a new dimension of actually hosting regular city-wide prayer gatherings.

From its inception over 120,000 Trumpet publications have been distributed through a combination of hard copy mailings and e-newsletters, and literally hundreds of intercessors have answered the call to pray together on a more consistent basis as a representation of the Body of Christ in Lexington.

Presently we’re engaged in constructing a Prayer Wall for 2011.  Right now, individuals from over 40 churches and 20 ministries are taking just one day of every month to commit some portion of their time praying for Repentance, Revival, and Renewal.  The goal is to cover every day of the year with focused prayer so that every stream of the Body of Christ in Lexington flows in the Presence of God in greater measure than ever before.
