When Fathers Stepped Forward

The 22nd Annual Father's Day Prayer Breakfast was a powerful reminder of what God can do when men come together in faith.

 

Held at First African Baptist Church, the morning brought together fathers, pastors, and community leaders to pray for families, encourage one another, and celebrate the calling of fatherhood. We are grateful to Pastor Thomas Jarber for sharing a message that challenged and encouraged every person in the room.

Reflecting on the morning, Pastor Thomas Jarber shared, "The breakfast was powerful. I believe God is about to move even greater on this gathering in the years to come.”

One of the most meaningful moments came when Pastor Lyons invited men to come forward to receive a blessing. As fathers filled the front of the sanctuary, the room was united in prayer. It was a powerful picture of men choosing to stand together, seek God, and lead their families with courage and faith.

 

We believe that too. As we continue investing in fathers across Lexington, we are grateful for every church, partner, and family who joins us in this work. Together, we are building stronger fathers, stronger families, and a stronger community.
