Promoting The Father
Our Call
The Fatherhood Initiative seeks to address the trauma that father absence has on children, families, and communities by increasing the number of engaged fathers and men. Through our efforts we raise awareness of challenges associated with father absence and mobilize people across sectors to address this pervasive issue. We, along with our many valued partners seek to increase and enhance bonded fathers, children, and families.
Our Goal
Through a collective impact model, the Fatherhood Initiative will educate fathers and communities on responsible fatherhood practices, healthy relationships, and economic stability among families. The Fatherhood Initiative impacts fathers and equips them to have nurturing, healthy relationships with their children and families.
Additionally, the Fatherhood Initiative seeks to increase the number of underrepresented men civically engaged across the city.
Our Vision
Lexington Leadership Foundation believes in city transformation and our Fatherhood Initiative seeks to impress the importance of promoting the father upon each sector of our community. As we improve the number of fathers and men engaged in the lives of their families and community at-large we will witness positive transformation in our cities.
