Jared Sloan
Fatherhood Initiative Program Coordinator

Jared joined LLF’s Fatherhood Initiative in November of 2020 and serves as its Program Coordinator. Originally from Danville, KY, Jared graduated from Georgetown College in 2003 with a B.A. in English and in 2005 from the University of Kentucky with a Master's Degree in Education. Although he’s still not sure how it happened, Jared’s heart for teaching and serving led him away from a traditional classroom and eventually into a 14 year career at one of Amazon’s oldest and most storied fulfillment centers in the world. It was there that he gained invaluable experience in operational leadership, process improvement, and employee relations that he now leverages to urgently serve fathers in our community.  Jared married his high school sweetheart, Ashley, in 2005 and they were blessed with their son, Knox, in 2012.  Jared enjoys music, photography, fire pits, friends and family, and most of all, being “dad.”
