Urban Impact strives to enable youth to GROW, SUCCEED, and LEAD. We value relationships with both the youth we work with and their families. Through holistic programming we seek to impart skills necessary for youth to overcome the obstacles that exist within their communities.

Woodhill Community Center

Opened in the Spring of 2018, Woodhill Community Center is a long dreamed of facility. Much more than simply a building, the center offers a neighborhood gathering spot where  youth and families can find community and activities to equip them in pursuit of their dreams.

Our Call

The foundation of all Urban Impact does is based on the scripture passage Isaiah 61. Our hope is to be a tool in proclaiming God's good news, binding up the broken hearted, releasing freedom and comfort, and restoring what's been broken in the children and communities we serve.

"They may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."

-Isaiah 61:3

Our Goal

Urban Impact desires to see the children and youth we serve become leaders within their neighborhoods. We partner with schools, churches, businesses, local government, and other non-profit/community agencies in order to accomplish our work. We believe strongly in bringing together those with a common desire of assisting youth and families, enabling them to create the neighborhoods and environments which will help them survive and thrive.

Our Vision

Lexington Leadership Foundation believes in city transformation and our Urban Impact Initiative is a way to equip urban children, youth, and families to GROW, SUCCEED, and LEAD within their neighborhoods to create permanent, positive, city-wide transformation.

"Being a part of Urban Impact has made me feel like they're my second family, the people I can run to. Urban Impact impacted my life in all kinds of ways that I cannot even describe in words."
