Amachi is a one-on-one mentoring program that works with children and teens impacted by parental incarceration.
Opportunity: Mentor
Responsibilities: Engage in positive, weekly, community-based activities (i.e., going to movies, trips to the park, going out to eat, doing projects together, etc.) with the mentee you are paired with.
Weekly Time Commitment: One hour
Length of Commitment: One calendar year

Responsibilities: Advocate for Amachi in the Lexington community (includes utilizing social media, sharing with others about Amachi, connecting Amachi staff to groups and individuals interested in being mentors)
Weekly Time Commitment: Two-three hours per month
Length of Commitment: One calendar year
