As we enter week 6 of our stay at home status in Lexington, we wanted to give you an update on some positive news of how we are working in our community to meet needs. While our regular programming can’t be conducted, we are finding other ways to serve our neighbors:
Working with our partners, hundreds of meals have been given out at the Woodhill Community Center, including during spring break this week. We are averaging 250 meals distributed per day, along with a smile and a friendly face.
Staff are checking in on our students, their families, volunteers and partners to see what needs they have and to provide resources or advice on how to access necessary help. A few of our students lacked a computer at home and we were able to help them get one.
If you or someone you know has basic needs, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For those of you wanting to support LLF, click the button below.
